New Long China Restaurant in Ahrensburg

Everything fine, gladly again

At the end of the year I had ordered and picked up various dishes with various types of meat / poultry, as well as soups. This went smoothly. Even the small portions were sufficient in terms of quantity. The taste of the dishes was okay, but no revelation either. Vegetables and meat were very roughly cut, the quality of the meat was average. The quality of the food would be in the range of an Asian snack bar, the prices charged here are still okay. However, if I go to a restaurant to have a refined Asian meal, I would choose a different location ... but would also be willing to pay higher prices. In short: Not bad, but nothing special either. Price-performance ratio consistent.

Always nice and friendly the staff. Food is delicious and freshly prepared. Simply good. Had invited Danish guests there in October. They were very enthusiastic and will definitely be back.

Today we ordered and picked up delicious soups and delicious food at New Long. Unfortunately we are not allowed to sit inside for a moment, but I have to say it tastes just as delicious and it's really hot when it arrives at home. LG Andrea from Ahrensburg

Like last time, the food was very good and we were treated quickly and in a friendly manner.

I like going to the New Long, the food tastes good and the portions are plentiful and inexpensive. The decor is typical of Chinese restaurants, pretty kitsch, but that doesn't bother me. The service is quick, but not really friendly, rather factually limited to the bare essentials. It's a shame on nice days that there are so few places outside. The menu is extensive, but there is clearly no offer with fruity mango sauce, which is now almost standard in good Thai restaurants.

The food is delicious and you don't normally have to wait that long. The selection is quite large. At midday there is an inexpensive lunch table until 3pm. In addition, the chairs and benches are very comfortable, so that you can sit for a while after eating. Overall, the restaurant makes a neat impression and is highly recommended.

Very attentive wait staff, well sorted Chinese. Nothing extraordinary but tasty.
